DIGITAL COMMAND CONTROL.

I think that the DCC bug has bitten me. Having gone American I think it is appropriate.

5th. November 2001.

It is now in its infancy - more details very soon.

10th. Nov 2001.

During the past few days I have been studying the products of varying DCC manufacturers. Whilst I was initially apprehensive of DCC, I am now convinced that it is a lot simpler than I thought.

I`ve now reached the conclusion that the beginners package by Lenz at 125.00. is the best way to go. After the Christmas expenses are sorted !!!, the New Year plans will be DCC.

I will update this as soon as I have the equipment.

1st.Dec 01.

After further research I came to the conclusion that the Lenz Set 02. would be a far better investment. I noticed in the Continental Modeller that a company called Marno Ltd. in London are selling the Lenz equipment a great deal cheaper than any other supplier in the UK. Comparative figures revealed a saving of almost 40. against other UK suppliers for identical equipment. So following a protracted discussion with `er in the wardrobe I have placed my order, and hopefully it will be here by the beginning of the week.

Due to domestic/family arrangements, we will be away from Sunday the 9th. Dec until Sunday 6th. January, with our family in North Wales, so hopefully on our return in the New Year I shall be settling down to some real DCC work, and I will report my progress accordingly.
